Academic Career Guidance for PUC-2 Students

NSSYGB had organized a "Academic Career Guidance" a Online Webinar for PUC 2^nd passed out Students by our Expert Panels on 02 August 2020 at 10:30 AM.

A Panel of Experts who are experienced in the field of education for decades had helped the students in planning and giving direction to pursue their future academic path.

NSSYGB team had contacted to various samaj members from various places from karnataka with a circular. Some of them had been contacted personally through the phone and were invited from this event. Most of the members were happy regarding the step taken by NNSYGB members to help students of the samaj during this pandemic. As most of the students were in dilema in choosing the courses and their careers. Around 30-40 cities in karnataka were contacted and a invitation was sent to samaj members. Most of the students had enrolled their names for the webinar. As this was the first time NSSYGB had come forward to do a online webinar for PUC-2 passed out student by various panels for this event. A various expertise were contacted for this event and most of them gave a positive sign for this event and came forward with their thoughts for the event. Click Here to view the invitation

The event started sharly aroud 10:30 AM with the welcome speech by our Vice President Shri Santosh Pise. Later our NSSYGB President gave a brief introduction about the NSSYGB organization its started with what goals, how many members and what its short term and long term goals. Expert Panels introduction was given by Shri Madhu S Durgoji.

Below were the expert panels from various places and their fields

Mrs. Suma Mahendrakar, IBMR Hubballi : She gave a brief description of the courses available after completion of PUC-2. The courses available for science, commerce, diploma, NDA, and others.

Shri. Sanjeev G Gadag, B.Tech, Diploma in Software Development. Have more than 40+ years of experience in the areas of manufacturing, Administration, Student Counselling. He gave a brief idea about the CET Counselling what documents are required and what all procedure are followed during the process of seat sellection. How are documents are verified, how the seat are allocated and how students can select their seat for different Engineering Colleges with different courses of their choice.

Shri. Yashwanth AR, Chartered Accountant, Indirect Tax Consultant : He is our NSSYGB member he is practicing Chartered Accountant with a working experience of 8 years of expert consultant in Indirect Tax. Yashwanth gave a brief introduction of the courses regarding Commerce side, he made us understand how different is commerce from science stream and how people think that commerce is easy then science. He also made the students to understand the future perspective of courses selection is a must.

Shri. Ravishankar Kakade, Founder of Kakade Career Academy : Kakade Sir is basically from Shivmogga city, sorabu taluka. In the year 1996 he started his own Kakade Career Academy in Dharwar. Through this academy he has training for IAS, KAS, FDA, SDA, PSI, PC, Bank PO, RRB and many others, most of the students have got benefited by his teaching through the academy. Kakade Sir gave a brief introduction about the competitive Exams that are held and other career guidance exams details. He also gave details about the scholarship exams conducted by various organisations.

Dr. Kiran Kumar B Hovale, MS Orthopedic: Dr. Kiran Kumar Hovale gave a breif introduction about why he had to choose MBBS or Doctor as his Profession. He also gave a brief details about the courses available in the MMBS degree.

Mr. Gagan Bhambore, B.Tech E&E IIT Final Year : A very dynamic person, very brilliant student or we see a scientist in him. He has won many competitions organised by many companies. He is pursuing his IIT in Dharwar. He gave his suggestions regarding the career what is goal of the life and what are you going to achieve in your life and how can you achieve this. He gave a good example for what are you going to earn and how much are you going to earn. It not earning its your passion for your career or work you should have to be.

Mrs. Varshini Bagade, MBBS Student, VIMS Bengaluru : Mrs. Varshini Bagade is daughter of our Ex President Shri Rajagopal Bagade, she is a brilliant student who is pursuing her MMBS degree in Bengaluru. She shared her personal knowledge or aesthetic experience in the field of MBBS degree and also shared her career related details.

Before the end of the programme there was a QnA section where most of the students doubts were answered by various panels and their doubts were cleared on the spot. In future if any student need any help from these experts they can contact them at any time, their details were been shared at last during the programme. At last the president thanked all the students and their parents and all the Samaj members from various places around karnataka and other places in and around the globe. Later vote of thanks was done by Shri Kiran Godhkar.

Nearly 100 active members were present in this online webinar and over 900+ views were seen on Youtube. A lot of students and parents have got benefited by this program. We have recieved a lot of feedbacks from the parents and students regarding the benefit they have recieved from this event.
